Our client, a boutique firm downtown specialized in foreclosures work for many years, is seeking a bright and energetic candidate to assist in their foreclosures department.
Standard Responsibilities:
- Opening files and file closures
- Preparation of demand letters, foreclosure petitions and affidavits and other legal documents
- Communicating with process servers, agents and other service providers
- Attend to all correspondence and monitor service of documents
- Preparation of reinstatement or payout letters
- Dealing with debtor’s enquiries
- Setting down court hearings
- Complete foreclosure sales and attend to payout of sale proceeds
- Prepare billings
- File management including organizing and managing documents and maintaining a BF system
- General administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to Senior foreclosure experience
- Paralegal or Legal Assistant diploma from an accredited educational institution or equivalent work experience
- Well organized, methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated and prepared to take initiative with file management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high volume of work
- Strong skills and sound knowledge of Office 365
- Experience with NetDocuments would be considered an asset
Compensation Range is $65,000 to $90,000 and will be dependent upon relative experience.
