Seeking to Hire an Intermediate to Senior LAA or Paralegal to Work in Foreclosures

Our client, a boutique firm downtown specialized in foreclosures work for many years, is seeking a bright and energetic candidate to assist in their foreclosures department.

Standard Responsibilities:

  • Opening files and file closures
  • Preparation of demand letters, foreclosure petitions and affidavits and other legal documents
  • Communicating with process servers, agents and other service providers
  • Attend to all correspondence and monitor service of documents
  • Preparation of reinstatement or payout letters
  • Dealing with debtor’s enquiries
  • Setting down court hearings
  • Complete foreclosure sales and attend to payout of sale proceeds
  • Prepare billings
  • File management including organizing and managing documents and maintaining a BF system
  • General administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Senior foreclosure experience
  • Paralegal or Legal Assistant diploma from an accredited educational institution or equivalent work experience
  • Well organized, methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and prepared to take initiative with file management
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high volume of work
  • Strong skills and sound knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience with NetDocuments would be considered an asset

Compensation Range is $65,000 to $90,000 and will be dependent upon relative experience.
